تدور أحداث الفيلم في عصر الفتوات ، أي في نهايات القرن الماضي وبالتحديد في عام 1887 ويناقش قضية صناعة الأبطال القياديين في كل زمان ومكان . حيث يحكي الفيلم عن الظروف السياسية والإقتصادية والإجتماعية التي تؤدي الى سقوط هؤلاء الأبطال .
